శ్రీ సీతారామచంద్ర స్వామి వారి దేవస్థానం

This was the story of "Rama" which was told by Sri Valmiki in the Era of the Tretayuga. The city of "Ayodhya" was the capital of Kosala. On the order of Dasaratha the king of Kosala.

Sri Rama, along with Seetha and Lakshmana went to the forest. The whole citizens of Ayodhya felt deep sorrow for the detachment of Sri Rama. The detachment of Sri Rama with Saketha pura was temporarily sad. But the event had sank the whole world in the merry mood. It was the time that all the Lords of heaven felt happy.

hello

The Ramavatharam itself was the leela of Bhagavan, which used to Dustasikshana and the establishment of Dharma. With Ramavathara, the entire India became the holy land. The human values and good equalities of Rama made him as a Model man of the best human being. The Ramavathara was the origin of Bhadrachala Divya Kshetram.

hello

They arrived to Dandakaranya, after crossing the great rivers and the great mountains. Agastya, Sara Bhangudu, Suthishnadu, Sudharsanudu and Matanga etc, Maharshis lived and continued their Thapasyas. The gangs of Rakasi entered into that Arayana which was the most holy and peaceful place. Khara, Dhushana, Thrisuna the brothers of Ravana made this Arayana as their capital.

Once, it was the place of Jana, but men became Asura. Agastya with his unequivalent power of Thapa, protected all the groups of muni's from the danger of Rakshasas in Dandaka. Agastya was the origin for our Southern languages and cultures. Sri Rama, Seetha and Laxmana serviced him for a long time. He felt very happy and thought that was no danger in future for saints and for their activities as Sri Rama come there.

The saint Agastya presented Rama, the Vaishnava bow, Akshyathuniram and the most talented Astra Sastra to save dharma and to kill Rakshasas. He suggested to Seeta, Rama and laxmana to live in "Panchavati" the center of beautiful five banyan trees. That suggestion became the way for Dustasikshana and SistaRakshna.

hello

Sri Rama treated it as the "order of Bhagavan". After taking the leave from Agastya they reached "Panchavati" which was one of the most beautiful place in nature. The place was full of happy with merry full notes of waves of the River Godavari, the sky touched tallest trees, all the branches of the trees bounded with full of ripen fruits, sweet sound of various forest animals and various sweet sounds of birds. The Panchavati attracted seetha as told by Agastya.

hello

Laxman, with the order of Rama, built the Kutira the Rellu grass, Madali leaves, and vedana leaves. Their "Kutira" became famous called Parnasala. They were spending their most happy life in the Parnasala. By doing service to Seetha and Rama, Laxmana felt the most devotional happiness. A small event became the origin of birth of "Bhadra" during that time. With the influence of Bhadra's thapam, the city of Bhadradri originated. The story of Bhadra itself became "the Bhadrachala Ramayana". The story of Bhadra was a small seed in the Ramanaya. Veda vyasa, the great saint described in detailed the story of Bhadra in "Brahmapuranam". With the help of Brahmapuranam and grow their Mahatyam, we have to study the history of Bhadrachalam.

It was Thretayugam. It was the place of panchavati. With the most beloved services of Laxmana, Seetha and Rama were spending their life very happily. With the arrival of "Amani" (Vasantha) the complete forest became green, giving pleasure and happiness to them. Seetha appealed Rama, to make arrangements to see the natural greenish and the most beautiful area in that forest. Rama and Seetha started for vanavihar. The cuckoo bird welcomed them with sweet "kuhu- kuhu". They toured happily in the mountains, sides of rivers, and small canals of the forest and enjoyed the beautiful nature. They felt very happy by looking at the lovely deers.

They immersed with joy by looking at the river Godavari which goes on tunings and turnings. The Dandakaranya itself paved the way for them as a heaven. The land became "Vihara Boohmi" for them. Seetha tired so much as she did not know sunshine and she did not touch the land for ever. Sree Rama saw the condition of Seetha. He smiled. He saw here and there for the resting place. He saw a big wide stone under the Bushes of pagodas. It seems to be a wide big stone. Both of them arrived there. The smell of pagodas and ponnala inculcated happiness to their minds and hearts. They thought that it was full bed with withered flowers. As Seetha tired so much she put her head on the foot of Rama and felt asleep for a while. The lord Rama felt very happy by taking the smell of pogada flowers and Seetha's head on his foot.

hello

One doesn't know about one's future. The wide, strong, and big stone became like "Bhadrudu" by touching the foot of Sree Rama and Seetha. The place itself became famous on the name of "Bhadrachalam". He became the great saint of Badra Maharshi.

hello

In ancient days, accordingly to puranas, the hill of "Meruvu" became a bow for the Lord Shiva in getting success in Tripura Samhara. All the nine planets goes on round and round around Meruvu. "Vedam" appreciated it as a golden hill. "Veru Devi" was the wife of Meruvu. They made thapa for the god Brahma to get a good son for a long time. "Brahma" appeared before them.

The Ramavatharam completed then Meruvu and Veru Devi had a deep desire to have a good son who always becomes a deep devotee of Rama in that world. They requested Brahma to give a son who was always having the devotion of Rama. Meru and Veru Devi went to their places. On one auspicious day, a son was born to them. There were no boundaries for the happiness of Meruvu. They celebrated the 11thday function on a grand level. All gods came from heaven on the invitation of Meruvu. The great god "Bruhaspathi" gave him name as "Bhadrudu". The infant got good blessings of all gods.

The boy had all kinds of good qualities. Day by day he was growing like a Moon in sukla paksha. He had good love and respect among the elders. He always tell the name of "Sri Rama". He spends always on the name of Rama. He did not mix other children to play. He seems to be a saint and sits in a corner and always spells about the skolas of Rama. This situation made the wife and husband with deep sorrow.

hello

One day saint Narada came to the house of Meruvu. They completed all their kinds of respect to their guest. But they seem to be grief and sorrow. He knew their sorrowfulness and told in detail about history of the birth of Balabhadra. Narada wanted to see "Balabhadra". Narada, Meruvu and his wife began to walk towards Aradhana Maharshi.

hello

Narada saw Balabhadra in his Prayer. Balabhadra completely immersed in the devotion of the Lord Narayana. The heart of Narada was fully felt very happy and put his hand on Balabhadra's head and blessed him. With the touch of his head, Balabhadra opened his eyes and saw Narada. Bhadra saluted Narada with whole body. He asked Narada to tell the way of Sri Rama's Darashan. Narada felt very happy for the desire of Bhadra and reminded about the story of "Druva" and "Prahalada". Narada thought it was the correct auspicious time to give Ramopadesam and taught him the "Rama Mantram".

Through the mouth of Narada, Bhadra learnt his last history of birth. He decided to go to Dandakarnya to get the full devotion of Rama and see him. Bhadra fell on the feet of his parents requesting them to give blessings to him as the darshan of "Rama" in Dandakarnya. Both of them felt very very happy to see Bhadra in that situation. Bhadra went to the bank of holy river Godavari. Bhadra began his Tapasu (Telugu).

The saints of that area (dandakaranya) who were spending all their in Tapasu, surprised and began to bless the boy. He started the hardest "Tapasu" to see "Rama". Disturbance started in the heaven. Devendra, the king of heaven wanted to test the Tapasu of Bhadra. Indra wanted to test the heart of Bhadra about the services of Rama.

hello

According to the desire of "Indra" the Ramba, Menaka, Tilothama came to the land of Bhadra, began to disturb the Tapasu. After many trails, Indra failed to change the heart and mind of Bhadra. All the most beautiful ladies went back to heaven However, Indra wanted to disturb the tapasu of Bhadra. He requested the nature to help him. He created calamities. He created Toofan with windane. Indra failed in all the ways. The lord "Indra" and his followers went to the lord "Brahma" to get any chance how to avoid the present danger.

hello

After, more and more, prayers of them, Lord Brahma closed his eyes and thought a while. He understand the position. Brahma told thedevatas that the Tapasu of Bhadra is not for the luxurious desires, but for the darshan of Rama. There will be no harm to anybody with his Tapasu. By his Tapasu, we are going to know the Ramavathara and his history and we can serve him. Moreover, people will get a chance to adorn the Lord Rama in this world. "Viswa Kalayanam" is going to be happened. After telling these words, Brahma and others went to their places.

All devathas by praising Sri Mannarayana reached the sea of Milk. At first they praised sagarakanyaka. They worshiped the feet of sagarakanyaka. All the people prayed the Sri Mannarayana who laid on the Milk Sea. He assured them and asked "why did you came here? What was the reason?". All devathas said at a time collectively that they came there only to say about the Tapasu of Bhadru. Please kindly show mercy upon him and all the trio. Worlds should be protected by enchanting the name of Bhadra, Sri Mannarayana well pleased and got up suddenly by saying his Tapasu fulfilled.

That scene remembered about the scene of (Tel)

hello

According to this Bhagavantha sentence, Lord Vishnu began to run towards Bhadra to save him. Lord Siva enchanting the mantra of Rama, also went to Lord Vishnu. Narada also followed Lord Vishnu, who was running to save Bhadra from the danger of Tapasu. In such a way Lord Vishnu corssed the words Kailasa, Swarga, etc. Anjaneya, by knowing the arrival of Vishnu to Bhuloka also came here. He was ready to welcome Vishnu.

Bhumatha welcomed Sri Maha Vishnu with merrily. With the foot of Vishnu Bhumatha well flourished. They praised him as (telugu "vikunta rama").

Seshudu changed as Lakshmana with bow and arrow. Rama,Seetha and Lakshmana landed with the shapes of "akara(t)", "ukara(t)", "Makara(t)" respectively in front of Bhadra. All the devatas adorned them in the name of "om kara Rama(t)"

The heart of swamy was filled with happy on looking at Bhadra Eyes of them filled with tears merrily, because their devote was doing "Tapasu" for a number of thousands of years for them. Sri Rama called him (vatsa)tel). The call of Sri Rama became a term to the heart of Bhadra, which was deeply filled in the tomb of Tapasu. Without his inspiration his eyes were opened. He saw the Lord "Sri Rama". It is a Ray of hope for him.

hello

He prayed, worshiped and adorned them for a number of hours. They seem to be like "Surya" (Sun). They surprised, wondered to see them. Bhadra fell on the feet of them. He saw Seetha, who sat on right thigh of Rama. She was smiling. He saluted for Sanku, Chakra and the bow and arrows.

hello

Bhadra served them fully hearted. Bhadra also worshiped Lakshmana who sat on left side of Rama. Bhadra worshiped and adorned them by looking at the idol of Rama from bottom to top. His body and throat became wet. Bhadra on the foot of them as a devotee. He bowed his head before them. He began to say the various names of Rama without any trial. Oh Lord! Oh, Sree Ramachandra Murthi Swamy! Oh, you came here to save me Swamy! Seetha Manohara! Lakshmana agraja! Devadideva! Saranu! Please save me.

He prayed to Rama to keep his holy foot on his head. "telugu padyam".

Rama's heart moved with the request of Bhadra. By smiling Sri Rama began to say like this.

Oh Tapassanudra! Bhadra I, well pleased very much for your sthrotra. He ordered Bhadra to say any desire of him.

Oh! Rama, are you testing me? Parandhama! By going near to the ripen fruits do we want a kachha fruit? It was a great boon to see you. For my Tapasa, I got good result! Oh! Varada Raja! Vaikunthavasa. If you want to give one boon, it will be enough. Lakshmana, Seetha and you along with Sanku, Chakra and bow, arrows come and settle on my head permanently. This is the request of Bhadra.

hello

Bhadra prayed to Rama only thing i.e. to put his foot on his head for ever and forever. After listening the request of Bhadra, Rama over whelmed with Joy. Rama appreciated the request of Bhadra and said that he would be there on his head up to Akalpantham. In future you would get good Joy of life. Those who visited you, they would get salvation. All their sins would be disappeared. The river Godavari would become the holy one. Bhadra became as a hill named Hill of Bhadra. Kodanda Rama stayed on the hill.

hello

On the top of the hill of Bhadra, Sri Rama began to stay permanently along with his followers. Seetha was on the left side of Rama, with two lelakandula in her hand and with smiling. Lakshmana stood on left side of Rama having bow and arrows serving Rama. Sree Rama seated on the seat of Padma, his face towards west, having Sanku and Chakra with the name of "Sree Rama Chandra Swamy", approached on the hill of Bhadra. Brahma Rudra, Mahadeva etc. Devathas overwhelmed with Joy. Bhadra began to read vedas. Parvathi and Maheswara put their heart and mind in the name of Rama and enchanted.

Saraswathi played on Veena named "Kachchapi" and began to sing "Vasantha Raaga". Gandarvas began to sing with melodious tone. Apsaras began to dance with overjoy. All the heaven gods began to shower the flower rain. The whole upper part of sky reechoed with sounds of drums.

With over whelened Joy Narada began to worship Seetha, Rama and Lakshmana on pancharatra Divyagana process as a first Aradhana. Bhadrachalam seems as sri Vaikuntam. Bhadradri itself called Bhuvaikunta. The hill of Bhadra sees to be the "Ayodhaya". The wife and husband of Meruvu, listened about the greatness of Tapasa of Bhadra came there to see Bhadrachalam.

They over wheeled with joy by listening that their son was carrying Lord Rama, Seetha and Lakshmana. Son's Tapasa was ripen. Their dynasty was to get salvation. With the order of Narada they called for viswakarama who was a devasilpi. They built the golden temple for Rama in Bhadrachalam. The king Meruvu, Bhadradi Rama was in golden temple. They saw and pleased to see their son Bhadra.

hello

Narada began to worship Rama, Seetha and Lakshmana daily. Bhadra, who has the power of kamarupa was also began to worship them daily. This was happened in the age of Dwapara. The age of Kali entered. One day Bhadra prayed Rama. Oh! Lord Rama! The age of Kali entered. Due to this entrance of Kali, all the people left their orthodox methods and began to have luxurious life. So please divert their minds and save them. The beautiful Rama pleased very well. Rama accepted. The golden temple disappeared

hello

A great temple appeared there. Many great people like Maharshis, Maharajas and Mahatmas began to serve Rama whole heartedly. Nobody's histories and nobodies serve do not equal to our position. We have to agree to our legends which were told by our ancients. Then only we can know their integrated History of the ancient without any doubts. We have to add sum of the examples to our legends. Otherwise the original would be in danger.

Two Mahatmas came to Bhadradri and survived to Rama etc. the ancient book of "telugu" says that two Mahatmas belong devas to come Bhadradi. Not only that, the book, (teulgu) says, that Tirumangai alwar sang about Sri Rama in Dandakarayana in the shape of "Pasurasas". Still the Pasurasas are going on the temple. It is still known that Adi Sankaracharaya came to this place and say the sloka "telugu".

The great Interruption happened in the history of Bhadradri. We are unable to find the medieval history of Bhadradri. We are getting the historical service of "Pokala Damakka" in 17th, century, clearly. In 17th century, she had lived in a small village near by Bhadrachalam. "Badri redalipalli" is the name of small village. She was very poor. She goes to the forest. She brings the fire wood and fruits from the forest and sell them in Bhadrachalam. She lived in this way.

hello

One day, Lord Sri Rama came into the dream of Damakka. "Damakka! I am yours. I was your god to worship every day. I am living only on the hill near by you. Come! Worship me" by saying these words, he disappeared. She woke up suddenly. The sweet words were echoing in her ears. After completing all her nature calls, she began to run towards the hill by taking some fruits and flowers. She assumed the hill by calling "Rama! Rama!" She cried and cried bitterly and loudly. She did not find Rama on the hill.

hello

As it was the time of sunset, she returned to her house. She laid down on the old cot. She slept slowly by remembering the words of dream of yesterday. Again she dreamt in the early morning. Again Lord Rama came into the dream. He said that he was on the hill near a big Tadi and under the trees of Pogadas which was near a putta. He was awaiting you. Come, and look at me. Suddenly she woke up.

The old woman Dammakka started to go to the hill like yesterday and began to search for the existence of Rama. She saw a big tree of Pogada and a putta next it. By looking that putta, Dammala felt very happy. She began to listen the sounds of drums in her ears. She thought that she was in another world. She did not see the men of sounds of drums. She was listening Mantras. She saw the Maharshas. She leaped into the putta with wonder surprised and fear.

Thousands power of lighting came from that putta. She saw the powerful idols in the putta. She began to go round and round around the putta, leaping into the holes. She saw Rama through every hole. There are no boundaries to her Joy. She cried big and bitterly. "Rama! Oh my father." The whole hill echoed for ten times. All the tribes came there. She slowly exhibited the Kodanda Rama. All the people began to salute Rama.

hello

Dammakka called for all and began to make clear around the putta by pouring water bringing from Godavari with difficult. The people brought the pots of water and Damakka began to worship Rama. Without expecting she worshiped Rama with a hundred pots of water. The Abhisheka was happened to not only Sri Rama but to the Bhadradi hill.

hello

Damakka succeeded. By pouring the water, putta washed away Sri Rama came out side like an infant with beautiful and miraculous look. All the people gathered at one point and began to praise Rama by closing their hands. The gathering went to their houses by saying the incidents of Damakka and Rama Avathar. Damakka did not discend from the hill. She was unable to leave Rama alone. She wanted to sit up there on the hill along with Rama. She began to spend her life in the presence of Rama without the difference of day and night.

She arranged a pendal by pickup Tad leaves here and there. Pouring the Godavari water on the idol of Rama, worshiping with the flowers of Pogada and Todi fruit to Rama as a Nivedana – this is the daily activity of Damakka. We don't know, who became like a Tadi tree. But it gives leaves daily for the pendal of Rama and gives a fruit daily. Damakka takes the same fruit which gives to Rama. She prays to the Tadi Tree daily for a fruit. She thinks that Rama was a great Lord for this earth. Damakka's worship was going on like this.

Abdul Hasam Sha was the king in those days. Golkonda was the capital. He was another was "Thanisha". The area of Bhadrachalam was in his judisction. The area was called as "Hasanabad Paragana". Kancharala Gopanna was the nephew of Akkanna and Madanna. They were commander – in – chief in Thanisha government. On the recommendation of Akkanna and Madanna, Gopanna was appointed as Tahsildar for Hasanabad Paragana. Within short period, Gopanna became a faithful servant to Thanisha. Gopanna was a good educationist and a good administrator.

hello

One day Gopanna, along with his family, came to the area of Badrireddipalli, which was in the area of Hasanabad Paragana, to collect Revenue taxes. It seems to be a de populated village. Gopanna asked an old man for the reason. The old man told him that Rama's idol was on the hill very nearby. By listening the name of Rama, one kind of desire started in the heart of Gopanna to see and serve him. He started to go towards the path of hill. Gopanna saw the god Rama, Seetha and Laxmana after climbing the hill and went through the middle of the gathering. There Damakka was worshipping Rama.

hello

Gopanna, himself forgotten his position by looking the beautiful Rama, Seetha and Laxman. He began to sing "(telugu poem)" a book of hundred poems on the power of Rama. All the people began to dance. The courtiers told Damakka, that Gopanna was the Tahsildar of that area.

She met with Gopanna and told him about her drum. It was not good for our kingdom and king, if Rama and other were in the sunshine on the hill. However, she required him to build a good temple to Sri Ramachandra. He surprised to listen her words. He described Damakka as "telugu".

Contribution of the temple is the first thought of Gopanna. Gopanna that his desire was succeeded through the words of Damakka. He felt very happy for the kindness of Rama. He sent servants to call his Acharya "Sri Raghunadhabhatta" very soon. Gopanna informed him about the construction of temple. So Sri Raghunadhabhatta charya came there with all kinds of vastu books.Bhattacharya discussed the matter with all other pandits. All the pandits knew after searching out religious books that why Gopanna was unity to construct the temple. Bhattacharya saw "Bhadrachala kshetra charitra" in "Gothami Mahatyam". In a happy mood, Bhattacharya described the importance of Bhadrachala charitra to all the people gathered. Gopanna, Damakka and all the people named it as "Bhadrachalam".

hello

They named the god as Bhadradri Rama and Bhadradri varada. All the people understood about the greatness of Bhadrachalam. Gopanna addressed the gathering that they would help and co-operated in constructing the temple for Sri Rama. We should all participate in their Yagna. Our money would became holy if we spend it in construction of the temple. The gathering was very much pleased for the active participation of them in building the temple. All the people prayed and required him to start the work to build the temple with the government land Revenue which was collected. They also promised them that they would collect the funds and replace it. Gopanna thought in his mind, that the government is for the people of the people, by the people. Creating all kinds of facilities to the people is the duty of Tahsildar. He decided to spend the govt. revenue cess.

hello

Gopanna saw towards his guru Bhattacharya for his suggestion. Bhattacharya was also nodded his head saying that this was the order of Lord Sri Rama. It was the great order. Construction of the temple started. All the construction was going on speedily. In the matter of the construction the Mestris became nominal persons. Nobody knows that there will be a supreme power behind the work. The temple was constructed within a short time.

Raja Gopuram shows the grand view of king ship, the small temples around the Rama's big temple, prakaras, and Mandapas – in this way the temple was completed. Gopanna ordered to make the golden ornaments like Crowns for Rama and Laxman, Chintakupatakam for Seetha while the construction was going on. He brought the other utensils for pooja also. While the construction was going on, Bhattacharya concentrated his view on Aradhana and Sankirthas.

Sri Rangam is the original place for the tradition of Vaishnavs. Gopanna brought five families from Sri Rangam who was pundits in Pancharatre agama sastra. He also brought three families of Haridasa for Sankeerthanam to Rama. Bhattacharya taught "Tharaka Rama Mantram" to all the people along with Gopanna. He demonstrated all methods of Aradhanas. Some rules and regulations were implemented in the temple. The methods of Bhajana programes were arranged. An auspicious day was selected for the installtion of idols in the temple.

hello

A temporary shed was built for yaga. All the foundation program was going on. The time of "Adhivasas" came. Sudharshana chakra did not find anywhere. Searched here and there. But could not find it. Gopanna began to weep. He thought that he had committed a mistake. I should not be reason for the stoppage of prathista. "Swamy! Sri Rama please take my life and give Sudharshana chakra".

hello

Gopanna jumped into the river Godavari by saying "Swamy! Stop all kinds of interruption for installation". He thought that something touched to his head in the river. Somebody was also going to the bank of Godavari. He opeaned his eyes and found that he was very near to the bank. He saw a big Sudharshana chakra found near him. Then he was in the deep Knee water. He put the chakra on his head and reached the bank by doing Rama bhajan. All the people pleased very much. That complete area filled with the nam of Rama.

Gopanna's guru Bhattacharya told him that he (gopanna) was the real devotee. Lord Rama listened your appeal. You are a servant to him. From today that you would be called as "RAMADASA". You came to this world only to prapagonda the super powers of Rama in the world. The birth of Bhattacharya was also completed fully. Bhattacharya embraced him. All the people began to say "Jaya ho! Ramadasa! Jaya ho".

Without any objection, the program was completed with the order of Ramadasu, the servant went to Nalakondapalli and brought Mrs. Kamalama, the wife of Gopanna and his son Raghurama to Bhadrachalam. The pundits and purohits took lead and asked Ramadasu and his wifeto perform the remaining program. Bhakta Ramadasu with the help of Bhattacharya completed the installation ofSudharshana chakra on the temple. The complete program was completed on the traditions of vaishnavas and on Pancharatra Divyagamakam (telugu). The installation of idols become the landmark in the history of Bhadrachalam.

hello

Gradually, the powers of Rama and the devotional actions of Rama spread in the whole India. Devotees from all over India began to come Bhadradi and worship Rama. Free meal was arranged for every devotee in Bhadradi. One day son of Gopanna, Raghurama fell down in the pit of starch and died. Gopanna was in the program of free distribution of meal for devotees. This news was known to him. He can't understand what to do. He ordered his followers to continue the program and went to his house.

hello

Kamala was weeping bitterly by taking her dead son in her lap. She fell down on the feet of Ramadasu. Gopanna consoled her. He took his dead son into hands and started towards the temple of Rama saying "you are the only god to save my son". Gopanna kept the dead boy before temple. "Rama! Raghu Rama! I believed you. What kind of mistake that I did towards you?". He prayed Rama in several types. "Dasaradhi! Show me kindness! Show upon me bow of merry". Thus Gopanna prayed and prayed.

One kind of super rays from the heads came and fell upon the dead dody of Gopanna's son openly in the presence of the people. All the people began to praise Rama. Within seconds, Raghurama woke up by rubbing his eyes. He seems to be a sleepy man. All the people surprised for this event. Some of the courtiers of Thanisha saw this event and raided to Golkonda to complaint against Gopanna. Their hearts filled with prejudice.

They made a complaint to Thanisha, who in the court, against Gopanna, Tahasildar of Hasanabad, about spending all the govt. revenue in building the Rama temple. Thanisha fired against Gopanna for spending the govt. revenue to construct the temple without his permission. Some prejudices told against Gopanna about the unnecessary activities of him. Thanisha ordered immediately to bring Ramadasu by arresting him. The conspirators felt very happy for the action of Thanisha. The commandor – in – chief of army went to Bhadrachalam to bring Ramadasu. At that time Ramadasu was conducting a meeting with all the people living in Bhadrachalam, to know their problems and solutions for them. Farmers are listening very interestingly. The soldiers feared to arrest the great devotee of Ramadasu. They told the words of Thanisha to Ramadasu.

hello

He himself bowed his head before the soldiersand was redy to go to Golkonda. All the people objected to arrest Ramadasu. They protected the action of Thanisha and objected the soldiers to arrest him and leave Ramadasu. Gopanna requested his own people not to obstruct the soldiers. "Without any interaction, you have to do all kinds of serve to Rama" by saying this, Ramadasu started to Golkonda along with the commander – in – chief of army.

hello

Ramadasu entered the court. The face of Ramadasu was peaceful, Tirunamam was on his forehead, Dothi and Duppata, Muvvalu (telugu) on his legs; Sitara in his hand. As soon as Ramadasu entered the court every one surpised to see him. Without inspiration all the people saluted him. Thanisha followed the people. Thanisha fired against Gopanna for spending the govt. revenue without the permission of him. Ramadasu replied politely that it was the programe of god. All the people wanted to do that programe. He also said that he has appointed by Thanisha only to do welfare activities of the people. He was unable to reject their demand. Thanisha again fired saying "you are not competent to spend the govt. revenue without permission". Ramadasu answered politely that it was not govt. revenue. It was public money. People paid for it.

We have to provide all kinds of amenities to the people including the welfare activities. Moreover, all the people began to collect donations voluntary and six lakhs of gold coins would be deposited in very near future. "Did you think that construction of temple is important than the order of Thanisha?" Thanisha fired. My Lord! "Listen to me, you are only Lord for Golkonda. But Lord Rama was only the Lord for the entire world. We are all under his court. We are spending the public money for our luxuries life. Is there any wrong in constructing the temple to Lord Rama?". "We are all servants of Lord Rama". Thus Ramadasu replied. Without trail, Thanisha punished Ramadasu for a period of Twelve years hard imprisonment and went away from the court. Every one kept quiet.

Gopanna imprisoned. The courtiers tried to convey Gopanna that the order of Thanisha was greater than construction of temple. They failed in conveying them. He was tortured Gopanna. But he did not get fear. He took every punishment as the order of Rama. He always concentrated his mind and heart on Rama.
